Electrical Contractors Association (E.C.A.)

The E.C.A. scheme*, guarantees that in the event of a members insolvency, then the association shall pay the customer the additional cost of completion of the work by a new electrical contractor.

The E.C.A. Warranty & Bond indemnifies the client for remedial work in the event of a members not complying with the relevant standards. Also, if the employment of the member under a contract is determined for a specified reason before completion, the E.C.A. will indemnify the claimant*.

The N.I.C.E.I.C. is an accredited certification body set up to protect users of electricity against the hazards of unsafe or unsound electrical installations. It is the industries independent electrical safety regulatory body.
